Telling your story first requires understanding your organization and then creativity to craft your story in the way that best helps you achieve your goals.
Building that understanding requires a team experienced not only in film but also in business, and we've purpose-built just that team.
Our CEO's 20+ years business helps us speak your language and understand your goals. When combined with our Chief Creative Officer's 20+ years in film and storytelling, we're able to help you tell your story like no one else can.
Our formula has helped us grow into a go-to boutique production company for clients from local businesses to governments and nonprofits to the Fortune 100.
Josh Adler's passion for film, theater, and the performing arts has been a driving force in his life since childhood. That passion ultimately led Josh to earn his Master of Fine Arts in Screenwriting and Directing from the film school at Columbia University.
While at Columbia, Josh won the William Goldman Fellowship for Screenwriting, giving him the incredible opportunity to receive one-on-one mentoring in the art of storytelling from Goldman, the Oscar-winning screenwriter of All the President's Men, The Princess Bride, and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
Since graduating, Josh has taken on a variety of film projects. His portfolio includes writing, directing, and producing national TV commercials and web content for DraftKings; producing and directing the feature-length documentary Living the Fantasy, narrated by Michael Rapaport, which premiered on DirecTV and is now available on Amazon Prime Video; and helping nonprofits, governments, and Fortune 100 companies use video to communicate their messages to internal and external audiences.
Josh's passion for his craft also led him into teaching. For six years Josh shared his knowledge and experience with the next generation of filmmakers, instructing film students at the New York Film Academy and at Ramapo College.
Josh lives in New City, NY, with his wife, son, and their lovable, if slightly eccentric, dog.
Ari is passionate about combining his business experience with Josh's creative talents for the benefit of LPA's clients.
With both formal (MBA) and on-the-job training in management, leadership, marketing, finance, sales, operations, and more, and with real-world experience running organizations, Ari excels at understanding a client's needs, challenges, and opportunities.
Armed with that knowledge, he participates in the creative process to ensure that those business needs and goals are tightly woven into the story that LPA Video helps clients tell.
Ari's nearly 25 years of business experience includes 12 years at Google, where as a marketing, sales, advertising, and digital expert he helped big brands — like Home Depot, Lowe's, Comcast, and others — formulate strategy and move into the digital age.
Ari also worked for six years in management consulting, helping businesses and nonprofits of all sizes with strategy, operations, and innovation. Early in his career Ari spent five years as the full-time executive director of a non-profit summer camp. He has also served on two non-profit boards.
Ari earned his undergraduate degree with honors from Stanford University and his MBA from the University of Georgia.
He lives in Atlanta with his wife, two daughters, and adorable and lovable (but also not-quite-normal) dog.
The LPA team is made up of film and video professionals who have been working together since 2002 and who have developed deep experience in their own specialities and in working together as a team.
